Relation between low carbohydrate diets and the diabetic patient

Another problem faced by the diabetic patients is obesity or excessive weight gain. Generally, a patient of type 2 diabetes faces this problem. This condition is associated with obesity, old age as well as family history of diabetes. A low carbohydrate diet also helps to tackle this condition. By reducing carbohydrate intake, a low carbohydrate diet helps the body to use the glucose produced more efficiently. When our body does not get enough amount of glucose, which works a fuel, it uses fats to create energy. To create energy it burns the fats in our body , and in this process our body loses weight.
